An attractive course which is situated on the slopes opposite castle Karlštejn is of a meadow nature and due to a hilly course it is very demanding for golfers. Changing wind, which makes golfer’s life even more difficult, influences him due to the minimum number of high-grown green vegetation. But golf is charming here and completing this course is a great experience.

There are many sand holes in the break of the first hole which make play over a dogleg difficult and, at the same time, they impede the second fairway, mainly hole Nr. 2, where you have to hit the ball from a high situated tee down to a water hazard next to which there is green. Other holes are also created interestingly and require full concentration from all golfers. No matter if they are narrow paths of some holes or climbing holes with changing wind, golfers must always be careful and analyse situations correctly. The strongest wind blows on holes Nr. 10 and 11 where hits under wind are a solution sometimes. Although the course does not reach the length of six kilometres, it is quite physically and mentally demanding.

The clubhouse with restaurant and terrace offers a beautiful view of most of the course as well as the castle towering on the opposite slope above river Berounka. There are also driving range and training greens available, golfers can hire golf buggies and other equipment here.

This is a domicile of the Karlštejn GC whose members are golfers from different countries who presently operate in the Czech Republic.
