They were golf and the course for this activity which showed an option how to return land after coal mining, which was mined here not long time ago, back to the nature. The reclamation of a shadowy moonscape created a natural oasis full of green vegetation.

A festive opening of the area took place in 2006. Nevertheless, it was being created from 2003, so the total period of 3 years until it was discovered is very short.

The golf course, which has par 72, has total length of 5,916 metres from yellow tees and 4,973 metres from women?s red ones. Each hole has four teeing grounds. Greens have area of over 500 m2.

The rating of the course is friendly to most golfers, only the best ones do not have any extra hits. The holes are situated in one area and they are adroitly straggled, so that each nine holes start and finish near the clubhouse. There are training greens in front of the clubhouse and a driving range, too. There are a restaurant and other rooms, including bar, reception, pro shop, offices and changing rooms, in the clubhouse. The outside terrace offers a view of the course. Also a sufficiently large car park proves the intention to create a really sophisticated area.

Interesting holes are Nr. 5 with green surrounded by water on three sides or Nr. 13 which enables more risky hits over water to green or Nr. 15 with a double dogleg but filled with two water hazards. The course is longer and mainly hilly which requires good physical condition of golfers on all eighteen holes. Moreover, there is a brutal rough.

The course is used by the Sokolov GC.
