It was a place where not many people knew about golf and the main reason of the sensation was a marketing strategy of the golf club which offered its membership for very low fees, absolutely unprecedented at that time. This attracted many members thanks to who the club could daringly plan its future.

The beginning was really pioneering, a driving range, an easy and almost flat course and a clubhouse created from an old adjusted bus. In spite of this fact many people were coming here and well-participated tournaments were held here together with upbringing new golfers.

Although it is a very easy course at first sight, it is not so easy to play here. The course has an oblong ground plan and its holes are mostly parallel. The longest hole is Nr. 4 of 332, or more precisely 317 metres and it is the most difficult one. Another interesting hole is Nr. 6 along the access road with green which is surrounded on both sides. A gently undulating terrain has its top on tee Nr. 1 where you play down and on the second hole up. Other holes go down again to the other side and up again at the end. Nevertheless, they are long and not very difficult super elevations.

The Nová Bystřice GC was the first club whose course was the first public course. It was opened in 2001. Nowadays the course is a part of the Monachus Golf Resort and it is used as a training part of an eighteen-hole course called Mnich, although both courses work independently.
